Week 7 proved to be a banner week in terms of visual changes at the Library expansion project.
Pre-constructed wall panels arrived on Monday and by Tuesday evening the form of the new Library began to emerge. The photos below provide some detail of the changes as they occurred.
Wall panels arrived and were stacked on the concrete floor in the new addition.
Another photo of the
pre-constructed wall panels just before the workman began putting them in place.
The first panels are in place!
Evidence of higher ceilings to come in some sections of the new addition.
More panels are raised and in place.
The building begins to take shape! This is the west side of the Library addition.
A view from the south side of the building. This high gable will be visible from Front Street in
Coupeville and from the
Coupeville Wharf.

Coupeville parking lot located southeast of the Library.
