Coupeville Library Expansion -- Week 5

The white pipes are sewer lines that will be under the new concrete floor. The grey tubing
to the right are conduits for electrical and computer connections in the concrete floor. The
vertical white pipe is a sewer line vent that will extend through the roof of the new building.


This is the water line coming in from the street to provide fire sprinkler protection

These are water and sewer lines coming in from the street.

Floor cuts were needed in the old library concrete floor. These were required to install new water, sewer, electrical, and computer lines where needed in the new library floor plan. Note the

six inch thickness of the old library concrete floors.

The west wall of the library (on the expansion side) is removed. The library is now

fully air conditioned!!
